Overview
The UV Sensor (DAVIS-6490) measures the sunburning portion of the UV spectrum. It has a multilayer filter that provides a spectral response that closely matches the Erythema Action Spectrum. Its diffuser provides excellent cosine response. This sensor’s two-piece housing minimizes radiation heating which allows for convection cooling of the sensor, and prevents the trapping of water or dust. To mount onto the Integrated Sensor Suite, add the Sensor Mounting Shelf (not included).
Includes 2 ft (0.6 m) cable. Uses Standard 4-Conductor Extension Cable. Maximum cable length is 125 ft (38 m).
