You can easily control anywhere from 1 light to 1,000 using one of our stand-alone, or expandable I/O controllers. You are able to create an entire lighting control system, or you can integrate it with an existing system to expand its existing functionality.


ControlByWeb devices can be accessed on a network using the IP address of the device. The network can be connected to the Internet, but it certainly doesn't have to be. We work with standard networking equipment to establish communications on an IP network, including the Internet.

Note: As with any device that can be accessed via the Internet, security should be taken into account. Text and email alerts require an Internet connection to function.


No, our devices work independently of a cloud with on-board logic that ensures ultimate reliability. However, we offer the optional ControlByWeb Cloud service that simplifies remote access, control, and recording log data.


You have a wide variety of options for scheduling, and control in general. The built-in task builder allows users to turn lights on/off based on the time of day, including sunrise and sunset as determined by the specified latitude and longitude. It also allows the user to repeat light control every certain number of seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, and years.

You can also specify override schedules which disables the scheduled control on certain days of the year.
