Support Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Support Technician to join our tech support team. We are a manufacturer of electronic products for industrial automation and control. We sell small to medium-sized control systems used in various industries and by systems integrators around the world.

We are looking for a candidate to aid in our growing company with product support, including setup assistance and troubleshooting issues. The right candidate will be technically adept, patient, and demonstrate excellent people skills. In this position you will:

  • Provide technical support by phone and email
  • Assist customers with setup and troubleshooting installations
  • Assist sales team with more technical questions in regards to product inquiries
  • Answer pre-sales calls when sales team is not available
  • Provide feedback to programming team in regards to bugs found and feature requests from customers
  • Diagnose and repair failed units and advise customers on resolution to prevent future failures
  • Test new firmware and new modules as needed
  • Report any trends with device failures to the appropriate team (engineering, production, etc)


This position is for full-time employment during regular working hours. Ideally, the candidate will have basic skills and knowlede in wiring, IP networking, good verbal communication, good writing, and troubleshooting. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Other relevant skills include: soldering and basic electrical repair, product evaluation, basic computer coding, etc.

Pay: Negotiable

Hours: Full-Time

Location: On premise in Nibley, UT
